Introduction

Story Overview
Naofumi Iwatani, an ordinary Japanese student, is summoned to a parallel world along with three others to become the world’s Cardinal Heroes. While the other heroes receive weapons like swords and spears, Naofumi is left with only a shield.
Framed for a crime he didn’t commit and cast out by society, he builds his strength from nothing. Accompanied by Raphtalia and Filo, Naofumi begins his journey toward justice and redemption, eventually becoming the most reliable hero.
